  4. Hi all Raytracing freaks !
  5.  
  6. This is a special version of PoV-Ray for the A4000. It has a few 040
  7. optimizations in it so that it's slightly faster than the normal
  8. 881-Version.
  9.  
  10. New Features:
  11.  
  12.   - 68040 optimized
  13.   - Uses RegisterArguments for functioncalls
  14.   - about 10% faster than the 881-version
  15.   - complete new Displayroutines !!!
  16.       - Uses SetAPen() and WritePixel() ( no more Bitmap-poking)
  17.       - New Displayoption +d8. This option displays the picture in
  18.         640x512 HAM8 Mode (hope it will work on NTSC-MAchines). A special
  19.         algorythm loads the colour registers the time the picture ist
  20.         rendered. So there are no mor HAM-Errors anymore. Rendering takes
  21.         a little bit more than without any displaying.
  22.       - Bug in displayroutine fixed that makes rubbish on the screen
  23.         if you rendered with +a option.
  24.   - Uses only PAL-Screens (sorry, I hope to change this soon !!)
